Job description

• You have experience of interaction, interface design and using a user-centred design approach.

• You are able to work from a digital perspective and be able to sketch and prototype and work iteratively.

• You are able to design for different screen sizes and input methods, for example touch, mouse and keystroke.

We are looking for Associate Interaction Designers to work with us on one of the largest transformation programmes in Europe, providing services that have far-reaching and pivotal roles in citizens’ lives.

About you
As an Associate Interaction Designer you will be aware of how to explain design decisions and communicate ideas in a way that other people understand and how to use user research to influence design decisions.

You will able to handle constructive criticism of your work, constructively review other people’s work, work with Product Owners designing within given constraints and work at pace in an agile environment.

You will ideally have a design-related degree.

BPDTS Ltd provides dedicated services to the Department for Work and Pensions. Our digital, data and technology specialists work closely with experts in DWP Digital’s community to make digital services quicker, simpler and more efficient for the millions of people that use them.
