We are looking for Digital Practice Business Support Leads to work with us on in a once in a generation largest transformation programme in Europe, providing services that have far-reaching and pivotal roles in citizens’ lives. About you
This is a brand new and exciting role at the heart of BPDTS Ltd providing operational and administrative support to 1st tier management of Digital Services Practice Leads (DSPL’s) and the Head of Digital Practice.
You will help drive and take ownership in :
- Developing the BPDTS Practice professional capability
- Promotion of the BPDTS Employer Value Proposition (EVP)
- Utilise social media skills to increase visibility of the BPDTS brand and raising profile in marketplace
- Creating a deeper BPDTS footprint
- Helping to build and support the BPDTS practice” Model of Excellence”
- Establishing BPDTS brand as “employer of choice*
You’ll have an important role in ensuring the health of all the Digital practice areas in BPDTS. You’ll take on logistics like arranging exciting conferences to bring us all together, supporting performance management and co-ordinating workflow, and working across networks to build our professional capabilities.
You’ll provide support to our Digital Service Practice Leads by researching, and sharing products/best practice. You will work closely with senior colleagues to build and deliver resourcing plans that are crucial to the future of DWP Digital.
You’ll also help write and release the communications, including blogs and social media post, that define our practice areas, tell us who we are and where we’re going
What are we looking for?
The heart of this role is Business Support Partnership within a digital services environment. The key skills criteria are that we are essential in performing this role are:
- Excellent planning, prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to multi task
- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships and networks.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and analytical software skills with the ability to report and critically analyse data and present in relevant report trends.
- You’ll be a great communicator and have the social media savvy skills to needed to get our value proposition message across
- Previous experience of working in a digital environment
- Stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record of successfully working with and delivering to senior managers.
- Proactive Engagement with both internal and external stakeholder management
- Flexibility and adaptability to change

You will join us in one of our modern, vibrant digital hubs in either Blackpool, Manchester or Newcastle.
