Change Manager – Up to £39,674 with 27% pension contributions, flexible working, work life balance and great benefits

As a Change Manager you’ll be an important part of our Change Management community. You will be responsible for making sure that the changes we approve are of the right quality and fit for our projects.
Our Change Management team works in the context of IT Service Transition Management. We take care of planning for service transitions and co-ordinate the resources that are required. We control the lifecycle of all changes, minimising disruption to IT Services and business as usual, while maximising and promoting beneficial change.
We’re in the middle of a once-in-a-generation digital transformation in DWP. We’re revolutionising the way government technology teams work, and how we deliver products and services to millions of people. Change is at the heart of everything we doing, and the Change Manager role is critical to our success.
Duties. Work. Projects.
- You will help stakeholders successfully navigate the change management process.
- You are an advocate for the integrity of a robust change management process and will make sure we deliver optimally and according to policies and procedures.
- You will assess, interpret and understand proposed application and infrastructure changes.
- You will run Change Approval Boards to review and assess major changes.
- You help define and maintain the Change management process, strategy and roadmap.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- You have lots of experience with change scheduling, planning, prioritisation, risk management and dependencies.
- You are an experienced team manager, comfortable taking care of a team people
- You have experience of developing functions within a project to reach the required change management deliverables.
- You’re a good communicator and you can build influential stakeholder relationships.
