Job description
About you
As a Digital Capability Manager you will be part of the Digital People Resource Team and be responsible for managing permanent recruitment demand, cross-government recruitment activity, contingent labour resourcing, and planning and reporting across Digital Capability.
What we’re looking for…
- You have the knowledge of the Government Digital Profession
- You are able to manage and develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior managers to achieve desired outcomes
- You have good MS Excel skills, with the ability to report and critically analyse data to present relevant management information
- You can develop and deliver implementation plans, governance, processes, tools and techniques to increase capability in Digital working effectively with key stakeholders (and the ability to monitor and report progress on capability activities)
- You know about leading continuous improvement activities and knowledge and understand Project Management methodologies
- You are an excellent communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills
It’s also great if….
You have experience of working in a digital environment, or with digital professionals.
Accreditation & Qualifications
- CIPD Qualification or willing to work towards with relevant experience
- A suitable IT or Project Management Qualification (e.g. APMP, BCS Certificate in Project Management or Prince 2 Practitioner) or equivalent relevant experience or working towards
