We are looking for talented engineers and devs with PEGA skills to work with us on one of the biggest transformation programmes in Europe, providing services that have far-reaching and pivotal roles in citizens’ lives.

You and your role
We’re looking for engineers with PEGA skills to join our thriving community of software engineers and developers.
We’re looking for Software Engineers and Senior Software Engineers to join our team. We want you to be at your best, so we want you to work in a way that you know fits you best. And we’ll support you however we can.
You should be driven to deliver, creative and able to manage your own work and responsibilities. We’re delivering against a huge agenda of change and it can be challenging so, like us, you’ll need to love what you do and love learning new tricks.
What are we looking for?
You need to have good experience of:
- Pega 7.2 or above, and
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating System v6 or above.
We’re looking for strong skills in:
- Java v1.7 or above.
- JavaScript v1.8 or above.
Good experience of the following database technologies:
- Postgres v9.0 or above.
- MongoDB v3.0 or above.
- Cassandra v2.2 or above.
You need to have experience of one or more of the following tools:
- Git v2.0.
- Jenkins v2 or above.
You will have significant and demonstrable experience of one or more of the following testing tools:
- J-Unit v4.0 or above.
- Jasmine v2.0 or above.
At the senior level we’re looking for people with experience of one or more of the following:
- Agile software development frameworks like SCRUM or Kanban.
- Delivering business process management solutions.
- Configuring Pega application layers and components.
- Monitoring Pega applications through AES.
- Managing delivery and release processes in a Continuous Delivery environment.
- Delivering software applications on cloud based environments.
- Leading multiple Software delivery teams.
Where will you work?
BPDTS Ltd provides dedicated services to the Department for Work and Pensions. Our digital, data and technology specialists work closely with experts in DWP Digital’s community to make digital services quicker, simpler and more efficient for the millions of people that use them.
You’ll join us in our easy-to-reach digital hubs in Manchester. Each of our nationwide hubs has been designed for and by members of our digital community. What is our offer?
- We’ll reward you with a very competitive salary of up to £71,561 for Senior Software Engineers. Software Engineers can expect up to £52,925.
- You will be eligible for a pension with employer contributions of up to 10%
- We can offer you a performance-related annual bonus of up to 10%
