DWP Digital deliver products and services to 22 million people across the UK and we’re looking to add stellar Senior Front End Developers to our User Experience Design teams with the goal of making the UK’s public services usable, consistently designed and efficiently built.

We have a number of exciting projects coming up using node.js, Jenkins & Microservices and we need experienced Senior Front End Developers to join our multi-disciplinary agile teams.
Experienced Front End engineers who have direct experience of Progressive enhancement, modern tooling and pipelines and can demonstrate an understanding of written test driven performant code and are passionate about delivering quality services to users and their wide range of needs.
You and the role
Our Senior Front End Developers play an important part in delivering quality services to people who interact with DWP.
- You will work as part of cross functional teams, shaping, building and driving technical direction of DWP Services.
- You’ll produce performant, high quality Front End code, using TDD and modern tooling & Pipelines.
- You’ll work iteratively with other Engineers and User Centred Design professionals to create accessible services for citizens.
- You’ll mentor and develop junior staff and play an active role in defining Front End standards and patterns.
We are very interested in hearing from Front End Developers, Full Stack Developers and Engneers or those with commercial experience of Front End Development or Software Engineering with experience of modern tech stack skills.
