Your and your role
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Digital Operations) who can ensure the delivery of server and infrastructure technologies from design to production in order to help prevent interruptions to the services delivered.
You will be part of an energetic team, transforming the solutions and services offered to over 10,000 mobile device users in the department.
As Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will be expected to lead and mentor others, provide 3rd line support where necessary, drive innovation and efficiency, and work collaboratively across teams to provide integrated high quality services to our customer.
The model of assignment means, that over time and subject to business needs there will be opportunities to undertake varied roles across different delivery areas, and you will be supported in developing your skills within networking and more broadly,.
What are we looking for?
- The Infrastructure Engineer – Digital Operations will have expert level experience of the products, services and techniques used to design, build, and operate.
- You will have extensive knowledge and proven experience designing and implementing deployment and release.
- An ability to lead teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems across multiple technology domains is a key criteria to the role.
- You will have the ability to provide leadership and line management for team of engineers.
Your tech:
- Infrastructure background within a Microsoft environment
- AWS & VMware.
- NetApp Technology/SANS storage
- Office 365 (essential)
- Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) – (essential)
- Cisco ASA & Networking (essential)
