You and your role
ServiceNow cuts across the breadth of DWP’s operations and infrastructure. We support and develop ServiceNow in-house, and the platform interfaces with much of the new tooling we are bringing in. It is key piece of our ongoing digital transformation, and you’ll have the potential to be really impactful in this role.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer- ServiceNow you will be responsible for establishing and embedding best practices across DWP, guiding our teams on how to deliver quality Infrastructure products. You are a skilled practitioner and a role model in Infrastructure solutions, an expert voice on ServiceNow and an experience leader of other engineers.
In this role you will oversee design of Infrastructure services in collaboration with Architecture and Engineering principles. With a focus on operational stability, robustness, resilience, availability and quality you will be accountable for infrastructure solutions relating to ServiceNow.
What are we looking for?
• You have experience in operations of ServiceNow application sets Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management.
• You have experience of managing releases using the ServiceNow related Software Delivery Lifecycle.
• You have experience of applying strategic direction to a ServiceNow platform.
• You have experience in supporting and mentoring the development of team members to assist in the provision of a first class service
• You can communicate at different levels, across support and engineering, business users, architecture and 3rd party suppliers.
• You are a ServiceNow Certified Administrator, Develop, Implementation Specialist or equivalent experience / skills.
