We are looking for 3 talented and driven individuals to work as Senior Infrastructure Engineers in the enterprise tooling team. This team is responsible for the provision of a technical capability to allow monitoring and performance of Applications, Networks, Storage and other critical infrastructure across the estate, working closely with a wide variety of technical teams and business stakeholders

You and your role

Whilst all the roles are technical in nature, for one of the roles we are seeking someone to take on a more product ownership role, which will require the individual to look at vendor product roadmaps, and work with DWP colleagues to understand the strategic demand for products and services.
This role will still require a good range of technical knowledge to allow an informed decision using knowledge of the wider infrastructure building blocks allowing DWP to intercept and implement improved value to DWP.

The remaining two roles will be more hands on, and require individuals experienced in assessing, designing, implementing and supporting a broad range of products and services used in enterprise environments.

You will work with us on one of the largest transformation programmes in Europe, providing services that have far-reaching and pivotal roles in citizens’ lives. We know that better digital services in government will mean better public services, with the power to make a difference to lives of 22 million UK citizens. Our fast-growing digital community is driving that change.

Our model of assignment means that over time and subject to business needs there will be opportunities to undertake varied roles across different delivery areas, where you will be fully supported in developing your skills.
