As a Service Analyst you will be implementing DWP’s service level management and ensuring our IT meets user needs and provides value for money. Our Service Analysts support and escalate queries and issues to relevant IT service functions. We keep critical DWP Services live and running. The eyes and ears of the organisation, our Service Analysts are especially important in providing a single view on service performance for many key stakeholders.

You and your role
As a Service Analyst you will be responsible for monitoring, adherence and maintaining the effectiveness of policies, standards and guidelines for IT service delivery including problem, incident, and knowledge management. You will monitor and manage the progress of product related incidents, helping us meet targets and keep our end users happy.
You’ll need to be comfortable producing regular reports to support service delivery process, and you’ll have a keen eye for continuous improvement.
A key part of your role is to ensure effective management of issues raised on all channels and handle the resulting incidents. You’ll be happy to work within agreed processes and be driven to deliver results and resolve issues.
You’ll have chance to work with and learn from our other Service Managers, developing your skills and experience so that you can move to the next level in your career.
