About your role
As a Senior Technical Lead, you will be accountable for application development and coordinating technical teams which create and maintain products and services for DWP.
You’ve got technical expertise in multiple domains, which you can use to develop technical product roadmaps and manage product lifecycles. An expert voice and a leader for DWP Digital you will provide technical input into business discussions, to senior leaders and ministers, which have a real impact on the wider DWP strategy.
You will collaborate with product owners and delivery managers to manage resourcing, budget and technology strategy to facilitate the development and support of our products and services.
You have the capability, credibility and expert domain knowledge to communicate with a range of technical experts, including architects, enterprise infrastructure teams and product owners, making sure everyone is aligned and delivering a service that is right for our business and our users.
In this role you will work with the wider Hybrid Cloud Services team to enhance and maintain the various strategic hosting environments used by DWP including On Premise Hosting and the Cloud Hosting Environments. Your aim will be to deliver efficient, resilient and stable services, that will be used by millions of people across the UK, whilst driving towards the increased uptake of our strategic cloud-based solutions.
