This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and innovative ETL Developer to help us transform data management and data services. You will join our thriving Data & Analytics practice as part of the Fraud Error & Debt team transforming data management and data services in one of the highest-profile digital transformation programmes in Europe You’ll work on colossal data-lakes transforming raw data into quality data-sets.

You’ll join a motivated team who are focused on delivering excellent customer service, working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to create innovative solutions in a diverse and large scale operation.

The team deliver using the most appropriate methodology with expertise in both Waterfall and Agile ways of working.

We are looking for someone who has knowledge of both methodologies with an emphasis on Agile, who is enthusiastic, experienced and knowledgeable and can to rise to the transformation challenge and deliver successful Business outcomes.

You and your role

As an ETL Developer you are responsible for the development and maintenance activities for the delivery of quality data products and services to meet customer needs to agreed timescales.

You will work within the overall product development Lifecycle Processes within Data Engineering; learning about the agreed Data Architecture and Data Engineering principles and standards to ensure the systems are fit for purpose
You will ensure the stability, robustness and resilience of the products you design and build, and be in a position to affect changes to those products where necessary. You will maintain and support continuous improvement of data engineering standards and engage with stakeholders at all stages of the data engineering lifecycle, from pre- feasibility/discovery through to delivery.
