No two days are the same for you as an Application Support Analyst. As a product owner you’ll plan and strategize to safeguard against problems in the first place; regularly evaluating the health of the application, identifying and recommending improvements. Another day your efforts might be directed towards providing on-call tech support to an application’s users via emails or live chat.

As a key part of our infrastructure community with stakes in the delivery of £billion systems and networks you’ll have the opportunity to use your skills to help deliver a once in a generation digital transformation.

In BPDTS Ltd you will be part of an organisation responsible for the delivery of digital platforms and services, real-time analytics and flexible infrastructure, providing secure and resilient services to DWP. Joining an innovative, supportive, and fast growing community of skilled digital professionals you will work in agile and creative ways to improve public services, with the power to make a difference to the lives of 22 million UK citizens.

As we are looking for 10 people this is an opportunity for you to pay it forward and work with your friends so be sure to spread the word, share this advert and tell people we’re hiring!

You and your role

You use your skills on proactive monitoring of live service, analysis, translation of operational requirements, troubleshooting, incident management and a range of Network and Infrastructure problem resolution. It’s a really varied, valued and interesting role.

You will act as a real partner to our teams and carry out operational reviews to help identify and drive business process improvements. You’ll also drive automation in business applications, and take satisfaction in continuous service improvement, efficiency and outstanding customer service.

You’ll be working with and Cloud (AWS and Azure) environments and traditional datacentres. You’ll have the opportunity to train, develop and be mentored by peers and senior members of the infrastructure, software development and architecture community. Allowing you to craft your very own career path within anyone or all of those disciplines.
