We’re looking for talented Microsoft Suite Product Experts to join DWP’s exciting Digital Workplace project. You’ll work at the heart of one of the UK’s biggest and most high-profile digital transformation programmes, a once-in-a-generation tech-driven reform of government products and services.
As our Product Manager and Subject Matter Expert you really get how people interact with the Office 365 suite and emails. For us this mainly means Outlook, but you’ll also touch secure email and discovery tools.
You know and evangelise the features available to users, understand the user impact of changes and releases and you can produce communications and training materials to support users.
You’ll help us use our most business critical tools better and more effectively and take us to the cutting edge of email communication and collaboration.

What skills, knowledge and experience do you need?
- You are a Microsoft Office 365 Subject Matter Expert will be a Microsoft product expert, a thought leader, and a strong communicator.
- You’ll have experience with the roll out and uptake of O365 products, ideally in large and complex organisation
- You will be able to help develop use cases and content for learning experiences on Microsoft end-user technologies, focusing on user adoption and productivity as well as deeper admin level learning.
- You will provide have the knowledge and experience to provide subject matter expertise to our training content development team around the Microsoft O365 productivity suite, primarily email.
- You have a user-centric focus. You understand our users, and their needs and will help them get the best out of O365 products.
- You’ll have the knowledge and experience of O365 products to make recommendations based on in-depth research and determination of the options. You will be able to work with a change and release team to make sure we understand and prioritise new features.
