We are looking for Infrastructure Operations Engineers, with experience of Infrastructure and Application monitoring to work with us on a once-in-a-generation digital transformation.

Duties. Work. Projects.

You will join the DWP Enterprise Tooling Operations Team. We are responsible for managing and maintaining a range of enterprise strength toolsets that manage the Departments IT Systems Management capabilities.
You will have responsibility for maintenance and ownership for an assigned range of products which will include:
• Systems Management Tooling
• Event Monitoring Tooling
• Application Performance Management Tooling
• Software Asset Management Tooling
• Data Centre Infrastructure Management Tooling

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

• Experience or understanding of IT Infrastructure services or applications within a large scale organisation.
• Experience or understanding of troubleshooting and resolving issues involving technologies across a variety of platforms.
• Experience of effectively communicating at different levels, across support and engineering, business users, architecture and suppliers.
• Wxperience of Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows Server and Redhat Linux and scripting within these environments.
• Able to keep up to date with changing technologies and how they could be applicable
• Experience of working within an ITIL Framework.
