Job description
As Head of Business Architecture and Analysis, you’ll:
•be in a unique position to translate DWP’s strategic corporate objectives into actionable user requirements
•help shape the design and delivery of enterprise scale products and services, supporting some of the UK’s most vulnerable citizens
•be a key member of the Digital leadership team, heading up the Business Architecture & Analysis profession within DWP
You’ll also:
•lead the ambitious and progressive development of business focused, architectural insight
•create a culture of innovation, using industry leading methodologies and owning the holistic Business Architecture model for DWP
•act as the bridge between the business and technical teams, working iteratively within multi-disciplinary stakeholders from across DWP, up to and including board level
•develop business capability models and roadmaps
•drive development of the Business Architecture and Analysis profession within DWP
•provide guidance, set standards and support innovative, appropriate learning and development opportunities to build team and profession capability and capacity.
•set the direction of travel for the team, acting as an ambassador for exemplary Business Architecture and Analysis thought leadership and practical delivery across DWP, delivery partners and wider Government.
You’ll be:
•a successful leader of a sizable Business Architecture and/or Analysis function in a complex, data rich, technology enabled omni-channel organisation in the public or commercial sector
•a recognised ‘go-to’ subject matter expert and leader in your field
•credible and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders to understand strategic priorities
•adaptable in leadership style
•experienced in working with diverse stakeholder groups to ensure your organisation’s strategic vision is clearly understood, integrated and reflected in exemplary service and product design and operational outcomes
•a contemporary ‘systems thinker’ who, whilst seeing the big picture, is able to clearly articulate and demonstrate value in a results driven organisation
•a passionate and compelling advocate for your profession and team
