We are looking for a talented Infrastructure Engineer with skills and experience in mobile device management to work with us on a once-in-a-generation digital transformation of these services.
DWP Digital is our growing community of digital experts. Using fresh ideas and leading edge technologies we create innovative, scalable digital solutions that make a difference to the lives of our 22 million users and to our amazing DWP colleagues.
You’ll work as part of our Technology Services team.
We provide the foundations upon which digital services for DWP are developed and operate. Our purpose is to deliver secure, effective and cost-efficient digital infrastructure services and to run live IT operations that support DWP business objectives. We do this by putting users and quality of service at the heart of what we do.
We are currently embedding a Full Stack Service Model to integrate our IT operations and ensure our services meet existing and future network demand. You’ll help us achieve our ambitious goals by using your expertise providing technical support and assistance to users, including 3rd line support for incidents and changes, and using your skills to solve problems
What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
We’ll ask you to:
• Provide an example demonstrating changing and improving within a Mobile Device Management environment, for example Jamf.
• Provide an example demonstrating communicating and influencing.
• Demonstrate experience within Anti-Virus and Endpoint Encryption, preferably Paradox.
• Demonstrate roven experience of Problem Management, ideally with technologies including Mac O/S, zScaler and/or Okta.
• Demonstrate Experience of BeCrypt and Paradox
Where You’ll Work
You’ll join us in our brilliant digital hub in Manchester. We’re right on St Peter’s Square so really easy to reach by bus, bike, train and tram.
