We’re looking for talented Infrastructure Engineer with skills and experience in Virtualisation to join our growing community of experts and become a key part of one of the biggest and highest-profile digital transformation programmes in the world.

We are delivering a digital workplace that improves the way we work.
We will provide the products and services to make our users’ jobs easier, encourage greater collaboration and support flexibility in working patterns, locations and on devices of their choice – helping to drive forward DWP’s digital transformation and ultimately provide better support to the millions of people that use and rely on DWP services.
As an Infrastructure Engineer specialising in Virtualisation you will deal with the day to day management and development of infrastructure products which underpin Digital Workplace test environments and contribute towards their design.
You will be responsible for the operational stability of infrastructure solutions, and the ensure robustness and resilience of those products.
You’ll work closely with Senior Engineers, providing technical support and assistance, and seeking out new and improved ways to solve problems and deliver solutions.
We’ll help you develop your skills as part of a skilled Infrastructure community so you can build a brilliant digital career in Engineering.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
• Server Virtualisation Tools, e.g VMware, Nutanix
• Knowledge of Hosting & Storage Infrastructure and solutions
• Infrastructure Technologies and Products – Compute, Networking
• Active Directory
• Microsoft Office 365

You’ll join our team in a brilliant DWP Digital hub in your choice of Leeds, Blackpool or Manchester.
