You’ll join the UK’s largest government department, where you’ll have a career pathway through three defined levels within End User Computing and get many broader opportunities to develop and progress in a brilliant and supportive IT environment.
So, if you’re creative and curious to learn, want to be empowered to make decisions and challenge the norm, and want to bring BIG ideas to a MASSIVE digital challenge then you’ll love it here. And we’d love to hear from you.
You and your role

You’ll need to be able to understand and diagnose a user’s problem from their description, and you’ll need to able to explain the fix to them in language they understand. You’ll take equal pride in solving problems for people and helping them understand how to fix it themselves next time as we drive self-service across our communities.
This role is evolving all the time. As we roll out new solutions across our teams you’ll have great opportunities to develop and become and expert with different tech, tooling and systems.
What are we looking for?
- You’ve got experience of providing IT support and guidance to end users
- You’re a people person. You’ll be able to get on with and build relationships with our end users so that you can help them fix their issues
- You can collate data and provide basic reporting
