We’re driven by an extraordinary purpose. In DWP Digital we’re transforming the products and services we deliver to make them work better for the people who need them.

And our pension offer is amazing – with circa 27% contributions from your employer – so you’re working towards a better future for you and your family while helping to create better futures for millions of others in the UK.

We also want to ensure our people have a really good work/life balance. You’ll enjoy the benefits of flexible working, including flexi time which means you can manage how and when you work and also take extra days off.

Delivery. Work. Projects.
We are looking for a Lead Solution Architect – Enterprise Content Management to lead the DWP Electronic Document and Record Management Service (EDRMS).

EDRMS is an end-to-end service instrumental in providing a faster, more efficient and seamless notification service to DWP colleagues and citizens. We’re also helping drive down DWP’s reliance on paper based forms of communication.

Managing several projects at once, you’ll design technical solutions (products and services), using Document Management technologies, like OpenText Documentum, to meet user needs and align with DWP technical strategy and standards.

You have the skills to manage a varied stakeholder environment and set the pace for delivery. You’ll work with internal teams and external suppliers to make sure we deliver successfully a consistent set of solution views, that communicate and describe the construction of the solution to all stakeholders.

This is yours to own. You’ll in charge of product architecture, product roadmaps and presenting product designs and recommendations at governance forums providing clear communication of architecture design and recommendations so we get approval to proceed.

This is a specialist role for a real expert. We’ll ask you provide expert advice to other Solution Architects, drive technology choice decisions and help build capability in our DWP Architecture community.
