Job description
We’re looking for talented Lead User Researchers to join our growing community of experts and become a key part of one of the biggest and highest-profile digital transformation programmes in the world.

About You
Lead User Researchers are part of the management team and oversee all the user research activities across their area of responsibility, co-ordinating and prioritising the work across multiple teams. They define and assure best practice, influence organisational strategy and priorities, and collaborate with colleagues across government.
You Will Have
Proven experience leading a user research team; experience of securing and prioritising resources and juggling multiple demands.
Strategic thinking; able to identify patterns and connections across programs and projects so that unified decisions are made regarding DWP services.
Research skills: Expertise is designing, facilitating and analysing a wide range of user research using a variety of methods to build a rich picture of users.
Communications skills; A persuasive advocate for user needs within the team and more widely. Proven experience of presenting to senior audiences, and communicating user research findings in a wide variety of format and contexts.
Delivering at pace experience; Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to adjust quickly to changing priorities, coping effectively with complexity and change.
