Duties. Work. Projects
This is a hands-on engineering role and you’ll need experience of building enterprise security solutions.
In Digital Security we are looking for talented and enthusiastic security engineers to help us design and build leading-edge security solutions to protect the critical services that DWP provide. There are few Security Infrastructure challenges with the same scale, impact and unique context as we offer in DWP.
Digital Security are responsible for the security products used by the department. These tools protect services across our hybrid cloud infrastructure covering both traditional data centres and cloud hosting solutions.
You will work alongside other colleagues from our Architecture and Engineering communities and contribute to the implementation and support of multiple security products.

Your skills, knowledge and experience
- Experience in the deployment and operational support of security tooling across a large enterprise
- Experience in taking responsibility for making effective decisions in a fair and timely manner.
- Experience of changing ways of working to aid operation within and between teams in order to achieve results.
- Experience of working with teams managing disparate technologies as part of an overall delivery
