We’re looking for talented Senior Interaction Designers to join our growing community of experts and become a key part of one of the biggest and highest-profile digital transformation programmes in the world.

You and your role
As a Senior Interaction Designer you will share your specialist knowledge and experience with your team to deliver DWP services, products and tools which fulfil user needs. You will manage other designers’ work, support senior level discussions and assist with recruitment.

You will be required to create and iterate prototypes to test and communicate ideas to the wider team learn about user needs. This means that working in an agile environment is essential to turning concepts into user-centred designs.

Ensuring that the design of services is consistent across multiple work streams, you will also support recruitment for the DWP Digital Product design community as well as managing stakeholder needs across different areas with a focus on supporting discussions at senior departmental level.

What are we looking for?
We are seeking those who have:
• Experience of sketching, prototyping and iterative design.
• Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience of using a user-centred design approach.
• Experience of working at pace in an agile environment.
• Experience of putting forward the case for design to senior stakeholders and product owners.
• Experience in leading workshops.
