We are looking for Server Build & Automation Engineer to work with us on one of the biggest transformation programmes in Europe, providing services that have far-reaching and pivotal roles in citizens’ lives.

In BPDTS Ltd you will be part of an organisation responsible for the delivery of digital platforms and services, real-time analytics and flexible infrastructure, providing secure and resilient services to DWP. You and your role

As a Senior Server Build & Automation Engineer you will be part of a wider team who are critical in supporting and maintaining the infrastructure across the DWP estate. This in turn allows DWP users to provide services to millions of vulnerable UK citizens.

You and your team will be responsible for making sure these services are kept online and running as they affect thousands of DWP users, who in turn provide services to millions of vulnerable UK citizens.

You will provide mentoring and coaching to others in the team and in turn will be a good team player yourself. We’ve got a great team spirit and you’ll add to that.

You are technically gifted with an investigative way of thinking and enjoy the challenge of getting stuck into issues to find out why things aren’t working. You are someone who is able to work under pressure and accustomed to change. Your strong technical background will allow to learn and picks up skills fast.

Whilst the role is demanding it is also rich in opportunities to expand upon your technical knowledge and expertise.

You’ll join us in one of our easy-to-reach digital hubs in Manchester, Blackpool or Newcastle.
