About you
As a Senior Technical Architect for BPDTS you will work with business projects, planners and designers to take an early view of how they can best use IT to deliver business change and achieve Departmental objectives, whilst supporting the architectural design and development of individual IT based projects.

What are we looking for?
As a Senior Technical Architect you will use IT experience and in-depth understanding of application design & development and some knowledge of tooling, methods, integration, infrastructure, data and security to design solutions.
You will be required to design and contribute to the technical solution in a project by doing the following:
• Contribute to the DWP Technology Code of Practice
• Translate Business requirements into IT solutions and migration roadmaps
• Clearly document realisable Technical Architectures
• Ensure projects are compliant with strategy and architecture
• Assess and communicate the value of the Architecture
• Challenge so that project products are of the highest possible standards
• Prioritisation, planning and scoping of work around architectural issues
• Capable of leading value for money challenges of technical proposals and manage technical interdependencies with in a project.
