About you and your role:
In DWP our Technical Support Managers are responsible for managing and evolving the performance reporting of live services, they have knowledge of the live service and can work across the 24/7 Command Centre and the Operational Area’s/Service Managers/Service Desk.
The Technical Support Manager will be expected to provide thought leadership in developing the Service Performance strategy and evolving practice and procedures as well as ensuring the integrity of the metrics produced to promote trust for all the consumers of the performance reports
As a Technical Support Manager you would be responsible for performance reporting for live services. You will own, maintain and manage the Performance Reporting process and procedures. You have in-depth understanding of the evolving nature of performance reporting and its reliance on the service management processes and toolsets to produce the underlying data.
You will also engage with key service management stakeholders to support the review performance, risks and issues to effectively manage service and live product support
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- You have demonstrable evidence of continuous service improvement
• You see the bigger picture by taking groups of services, investigating how to get the best of underlying services
• You have experience of Service Management and the SM Lifecycle in a complex organisation
• You have experience of SeriviceNow and/or other monitoring and reporting toolsets
